Founded in 1982, CF Corporation traces its origins to a philanthropic mission led by former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and Roddy Fleming of Robert Fleming & Co. (prior to its acquisition by J.P. Morgan). Initially established as Carter Fleming Corporation, the company focused on humanitarian initiatives in emerging markets. Today, that legacy lives on through the CF Foundation, which supports disadvantaged children across West and East Africa through adoption and education services.

As the company evolved, it rebranded as CF Corporation and transitioned into a diversified financial services and investment group.
